2026 Goals & Jump-Starting Our New Year

Liza here, popping in to talk about one of my favorite things — goals. 💥

As 2025 wrapped up, I reflected with an honest scorecard on how we did with “leveling-up” across operations, team support, and overall intentionality around building what’s next. 

Now, with January’s new personal goals and habits locked in (“self-reflection” will guide the version of Liza I want to see in the next chapter…), it’s time to think about how that intersects with Beyond Trending’s vision for 2026. There are three primary goals I’m working towards. 

In the spirit of accountability – and also asking for help – I’m sharing them below!

1. Reel in more big fish.  
What this looks like in practice: As I’ve reflected on previously, we have what it takes to play with the big dogs. Frankly, our strategic thinking and results put us leagues ahead of other agencies, making us beyond worthy to tell BIGGER stories, collaborate with GLOBAL teams, and elevate brands to NEW HEIGHTS. 

What can *you* do to support? Know any enterprise-level or public tech companies looking for a new agency? What about a Series C+-level startup? Make an intro, and let us throw our hat in the ring! 

2. Invest energy into my personal “brand” and thought leadership presence.
What this looks like in practice: Be intentional on LinkedIn, continue providing value and elevating stories – on stages, in articles, and via my interview series – and increase opportunities for third-party validation. 
What can *you* do to support? Invite me to speak on a webinar or at a conference, provide us with a testimonial, or request to be a guest on Beyond the Headline!

3. Continue building a rockstar bench of publicists. 

What this looks like in practice: AI can’t do everything. Being successful in PR means understanding the craft, and one of our differentiations has always been that we’re made up of experienced, strategic PR people. We’ll keep working hard to find the right players.
